The Center for Biostatistics (CFB) provides study design assistance and data analysis in support of the overall mission of the Bassett Research Institute.

The CFB collaborates with all the BRI centers and the Northeast Center for Occupational Health and Safety (NEC) as well as various other departments of Bassett Healthcare Network. The center is directed by Paul Jenkins, Ph.D. Dr. Jenkins completed his doctorate in statistics in 1993. CFB staff include a research investigator (Melissa Scribani, PhD), research informatics analyst (Nicole Krupa, BS) and data analyst (Megan Kern, BA&Sc). Deputy Director Laura Jones, PhD, joined the Center in February 2023.
