On October 1, a Bassett Research Institute team within the Center for Rural Community Health launched a three-month study surrounding the dissemination of vaccine information. Specifically focused on the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, the project involves working with six designated clinic sites and three methods of communication to spread awareness about HPV and the vaccine that can help prevent it.

Posters, flyers, and mailing label stickers, each with unique QR codes, were shared with each clinic site to utilize as they see fit. The QR codes link to a page where six videos are displayed – these videos, developed by the team in collaboration with partners at University of Albany and UCSF as well local actors and videographer, each share unique information about the vaccine and how it can protect your child from different types of cancer.
